Black Math
My buddies over at Black Math tapped me for a couple of scripts for Aleo, a company dedicated to enlightening the public on the power of applied cryptography, specifically zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs in the realm of decentralized tech like the internet.
The two scripts I dove into revolve around tackling built-in privacy and scalability. Crafted for short-form explainer videos tailored for social media, they're bite-sized and designed for easy understanding. The color palette keeps it sleek, mainly grayscale with occasional pops of color. Once again, I infused my signature collage aesthetic into the mix, adding depth to the data while maintaining a visceral lens that feels both tactile and warm.
Built in Privacy
For Built-in Privacy, Black Math had an early style sketched out, but I took the reins and expanded on it, giving it more depth and character. I particularly enjoyed crafting a range of house illustrations, blending geometric shapes, textures, and hand-drawn line elements. To top it off, I put together a character design using a mix of collaged images and digital painting.
Scalability
In tackling Scalability, I drew inspiration from the early internet vernacular, embracing animated gifs, bitmaps, and pixelated digital textures. The allure of a lo-fi aesthetic has always captivated me, and I had a blast curating a diverse array of windows housing images. These visuals aim to evoke a sense of scale and mass production while subtly weaving in the concept of quicker load times and code construction that emphasizes optimization.
