Elastic brought me on board to assist in their pitch for an Apple+ original film titled “Sharper.” The stellar cast includes Julianne Moore, Sebastien Stan, Justice Smith, and John Lithgow. The plot centers around Tom, the owner of a used bookstore in New York City. His life takes a twist when he meets Sandra, initiating a romantic relationship that evolves into a tale of debt, danger, and disappearance.
For the title sequence, I aimed to pay homage to the legendary Saul Bass, infusing an immediate retro-influenced style. Each title in the sequence drew visual cues from the storyline, weaving together a teaser that hinted at what lay ahead without giving too much away. While Apple+ opted for a simpler direction, these concepts found a home here in my portfolio, showcasing my creative process.
